CUSTOMS OF THE NINE DAYS

In addition to the restrictions listed for the Three Weeks, the following are added to the last nine days:

1. We don’t cut our nails.
2. We don’t launder clothing.
3. We don’t eat meat, except on Shabbat.
4. We don’t drink wine, except on Shabbat.
5. We don’t move into a new home.
6. We don’t shower or bath, (except for shorter cooler showers for general hygiene purposes).
